This has already been reported and noted by the developers.
Also - the ASI technically is copied over - it just displays incorrectly in the builder (showing as if it's not copied when it is). You can tell by looking at the character sheet of a copied character that it still has the feats/ASI's. If you view the builder it will show as if they don't. If you change the selection in the builder it will change that specific ASI's choice and when you re-view the character sheet the change will be reflected (old feat lost - new feat gained - etc.).

Does this for any char I try to copy. Not sure why.

So yea - it's just a display issue.
