Could anyone point me in the right direction for how to change the payment method for my monthly subscription please?
I can't see how to do this. Maybe I need to email support or cancel subscription then re-take out a new subscription with the new payment method?
If the latter, how can I be sure that I'm not paying twice on on an overlap?

You need to cancel your subscription, then let the subscription run out. Once it's run through, you can start up a new subscription with the new payment method.
