I sent an invite link to my players to join a campaign I created with 6 characters I created for this one shot. Some of the players can click the link and see the "unclaimed" characters and join with them, other players click the link and see no characters they can join with.
This is the screen I see (which 3 of the other players saw a similar screen), they were able to select their character, and join the campaign:
This is the screen my son sees when he clicks on the same link when logged into his D&D Beyond account:
His screen shows the characters he currently plays in other campaigns that are assigned to him, but he has no option to "claim" one of the characters assigned to this campaign but are unclaimed and thus are available.
I also think it's weird that the players who were able to join also had a "create a character" button and the players who were unable to see the pre-made characters also don't have that button.

Any thoughts?
Solved my own problem. Player had reached their maximum allowed number of characters. After deleting an unused character the process worked normally.
