I have been racking my brain over how to update PDF’s on here for months now. I kid you not. Over that time, more more hyperlinks will not load in, tell me that the error has been logged and I may need to update. Basically, once this happens, I forever loose easy access to what I as the DM need efficiently.
Extensive internet searches as well as within this sight and asking friends more familiar with it than I has not shed any light on how to update tools I’ve bought. Eventually I might not be able to access any hyperlink in my PDF’s here.
D&D Beyond doesn't support PDFs (outside of exporting your character sheet). If you're running into issues with hyperlinks not correctly working within a pdf, that's not something we'd be able to help you with.
Thanks for getting back. I wouldn't have thought to double click there.
Unfortunately, I'm getting the same message. I've done combinations including uninstalling the app, restarting my device, restoring local the manifest and above.

Are you able to open the Princes of the Apocalypse source normally via the app? If possible, can you verify that you can access it on the website? https://www.dndbeyond.com/magic-items/driftglobe
That link works. I can open the book in the compendium, but many hyperlinks do not work.
I've been posting on this forum with my laptop, so I emailed myself the link, opened it on the my tablet (the most recent iPad as of two summers ago... Whenever the last one before that came out) to make sure it also opened in that browser, and it does.
Though, it should also be noted that the driftglobe is far from the only thing I can't access within this source book while viewing it on my tablet. It's a huge aid to run games and to have the book there rather than out.

To clarify then - what else are you unable to access in the app?
I don't know off the top of my head. I'll have to go through it from start to finish. I'll start on it tonight a little bit, but I am running this on Sunday, so if I don't have it posted tomorrow, it'll probably be late Sunday or mid-day Monday.

This next section are things linked that do not take to the actual thing. I have noticed hat some things linked are withing the same page of the "PDF" and work fine. Another thing I've noticed that sometimes a thing will be mentioned followed by a chapter reference, but why not make the hyperlink to directly to the mentioned thing, even if they do come up on the same page or have whatever chapter it's in go to what is mentioned? I've seen it done such done within this "PDF" and it's nice.
Little consistency things like that even in the physical books have caused arguments within my own groups, but that's a thread for another time.

One thing I've noticed and haven't been able to find on the interwebs is that Savara Belabranta doesn't have a sheet. I'd love to see that, especially because I had some fun using her for something. That's a story for another thread.
I'll pass this along to the team for further review - thank you for bringing it to our attention! We do intend to go back and provide some extra care and support (ie providing clearer linking between areas and stronger consistency with how we currently present compendium materials) for the older adventures (like we did recently with Tales from the Yawning Portal or Curse of Strahd) but I don't have an ETA as to when that'll happen for Princes of the Apocalypse.

Hello,

Good evening,
I think PDF is the wrong term. I've been viewing this content within what you call the compendium.
Here is what I see when I try to access information referenced and linked within: https://imgur.com/a/JimTTL5
Gotcha. Try following these steps while you're in the app:
At that point it should allow you to download any available updates for the app and should allow you to update Princes of the Apocalypse.
Thanks for getting back. I wouldn't have thought to double click there.
Unfortunately, I'm getting the same message. I've done combinations including uninstalling the app, restarting my device, restoring local the manifest and above.

Good afternoon.
It has been a couple weeks since I posted all the bugs for this source. Have you had a chance to go through any of them yet?
I sincerely apologize for the delayed response.
