As the title says, I'm looking for advice for making a Armorer Artificer based of of Delta from Bioshock 2. I have a general idea but the hang up is his stats. My first thought was to go Int, Con, and Str in that order but alot of what I'm reading is saying Str is the dump stat. Any advice would be welcomed.
The Artificer gets proficiency in CON saves and the Armorer doesn't have a STR requirement for the armor. But no, it doesn't buff your stats.
You can choose infusions that can help with stats, although the "Armor of Magical Strength" is an item with charges rather than a general stat bump. Mind Sharpener is the CON infusion, again charges for saving throws.

You don't have to dump strength if you don't want to. It's often the most convenient thing to do so you can bump Int but there's no obligation.
Was thinking of running something like this for start:
Str:14
Dex:12
Con:14
Int:16
Wis:10
Cha:8
Also does the armor itself buff stats? Was messing with the beyond character builder and saw I had a bump to str and con from my class.
Those stats are certainly playable.

Then DnD Beyonds character creator bugged out.
