Doused STATE? Ok. this is ridiculus. You realize the rules are just broken here and improvization is needed, right?
A player says they want to swing across a chandilier. And the dm says "there is no chandilier defined in the equipment list of the dmg, so it does not have a defined "swing" action. So you cant do that"

A creature that enters or the square or ends the turn takes damage.
Oil behaves like a condition. If you are poisoned for 1 minute and you get poisoned again, you are still poisoned not poisoned 2.
