I just want to ask, how does Protector Eldritch Cannon work.
"The cannon emits a burst of positive energy that grants itself and each creature of your choice within 10 feet of it a number of temporary hit points equal to 1d8 + your Intelligence modifier (minimum of +1)."
It doesn't highlight how many creatures, so I can choose how many I like, I'm clear with this.
My questions are:
How long thus the temporary hit point last?
If my allies move out from the range, do they still have the temporary hit point?
If the cannon is destroy, do we still have the temporary hit point?
Do the positive energy only emitted when it is summon (1 time use only) OR I can use my bonus action to emit it each round (multiple time use)? If I can use it multiple time, can I give new temporary hit point to my allies?
I just need clarification, since I already search in few forum, they didn't answer this 4 question (some did answer but it is not really clear).

1. When a feature doesn't specify a time limit on temporary hit points those temporary hit points last until the end of your next long rest. 2. Yes. 3. Yes. 4. You can use it each turn. Provided your allies are in range (10 ft) of the cannon and the cannon is within activation range (60 ft) of you.
Note: Temporary hp does not stack. If you gain temporary hp while you already have temporary hp you take the larger value. So if last turn the cannon gave you 5 temp hp and this turn it gives you 12 temp hp you now have 12 temp hp. If on the next turn it gives you 8 temp hp and you still have 12 temp hp your number stays at 12.
