Good uses for Spell-Storing Item

Basically works as a much-improved version of Find Familiar. Quite useful to use in your downtime if you will be doing any crafting.

2024 dmg: "Arcana Proficiency To craft a magic item, you and any assistants must have proficiency in the Arcana skill"

2024 phb: (crafting nonmagical items) "You must use the required tool to make an item and have proficiency with that tool. Anyone who helps you must also have proficiency with it."

Homunculus servant doesnt have any skill or tool proficiencies so cant help with crafting magical or nonmagical items?

Haha... I was reading this thread and wondering "Why the hell are people not talking about Fireball..." Then I realized the thread was necroed from 2020 so was from old version of SSI where you could only do 1st and 2nd level spells...
