Disciple of Life feature doesn't apply bonus to homebrewed healing spells, seems it operates over set list of spells.
Also creating subclass using Life Domain Template makes the Disciple feature malfunction as it no longer scales the fixed value > it only add +2 to healing spells and bonus +1 per spell level is completely omitted.
I created a bard/cleric multiclass, taking life cleric at 2nd level. The additional healing from Disciple of Life isn't showing up when I click the button to roll the dice for Cure Wounds. It does however add it to Healing Word. Is this a known bug or am I missing something?

I tried to reproduce this a bunch of different ways and it always seems to work correctly for me, even when gaining the spells from different classes. Do you think you could set your character's privacy setting to Public and post the link here so I can take a look at it?
One thing I will say is that Disciple of Life is meant to only work when you cast a spell using a spell slot. If you have some other feature or item that lets you cast Cure Wounds without a spell slot, it should not add the extra healing to that.
I can tell by simply looking at the number beside the 2d8, which only says +3, which at a 2nd level cure wounds it should say 2d8+7 (+3 for spell modifier, +2 for base disciple of life, +2 for the level of the spell.
1st level Healing Word says +6, and 2nd level Healing Word says +7, whereas 1st level Cure Wounds says +3, and 2nd level says +4.
After some thinking, it seems like it's not adding my spell modifier, rather than not adding the Disciple of Life modifier, based on the fact that the number beside the dice amount IS going up per level, as per the Disciple of Life feature.

In that case, it’s likely that you got those spells from different classes and so the ability modifier is different (Cleric uses Wisdom and Bard uses Charisma).

THIS makes sense! I probably DID pick cure wounds from the bard spell list. Good to know that it doesn't apply to all of my spells. Thanks!

Well, to be clear, Disciple of Life does apply to all of your healing spells. However, I'm guessing that your Charisma modifier is +0, which makes it look like the spellcasting ability modifier is not being added to the healing done by Bard spells. (It is being added, it's just adding zero.) Or it's the other way around and your Wisdom modifier is +0 so it's not helping your Cleric spells.
