There are CR5 and 6 beasts just not in the SRD. That being said they need more. Add in something past giant, like dire beasts, moon should probably be 1/3rd level round to the nearest number so at 20 they get CR7.
What is funny about the one large flying beast its cr 1/4 so all druids get it, you don't even need to be a moon druid. Give some moon druid exclusive flying large beasts.
edit missed giant vulture. its CR1 so again a normal druid can do it. There are 0 high CR flying beasts for the moon druid.
The reason these weren't mentioned in the OP is that most of the posts in this thread were made before the release of the 5.5e Monster Manual, and were just going off of the few Beast stat blocks included in the 5.5e Player's Handbook, which indeed don't include any CR 5 or 6 options.

There are several in the SRD: Giant Crocodile, Giant Shark, and Triceratops are CR 5 and Mammoth is CR 6. The Monster Manual also has a Giant Squid that's CR 6, although that's not in the SRD for whatever reason.
