well there is one thing that dos balance the renegade and that is no custom bullets for a -bow and arrow = magic arrows- but for the renegade's gun to me it feels like you limited on what you can do and from what i gather renegade will not be as good in close rage fights and getting ammo "if a renegade gun use ammo" probably be hard to get for in you need a arrow you can just get some wood and start carving and chip a rock to get sharp shards put them together and wala a arrow but getting a bullet and black powder...... a different story.
What happened to Renegade, I saw it was partnered, was it limited edition???

A DM of 3 years a Player of 4 I enjoy world building and have many Homebrew Campaigns and several One shots, I like to consider myself a pretty laid back DM as far as some I've played under, I'm fair and enjoy running games for my friends and strangers, I enjoy teaching and helping players, I don't hold back when it comes to my worlds and monsters.
darn, and here I have a lvl 9 Renegade, and I don't want to lvl him up or down in case I lose it all.

No need to worry. If the character has the subclass leveling them won't change the subclass, BUT if this is your only character with that subclass once/if you delete or you decide to change subclasses it will be removed. My recommendation is to make a copy of the character so if something does happen to it, you have a backup file containing the subclass.
yeah it's the Subclass for the Fighter, I'm just not sure if lvling them would make it disappear or if I wouldn't get the perks that you get each lvl, I definitely don't plan on deleting the Character.
thanks for the help

Just leveled mine from 11 to 15 and back down again. Everything was fine. Still kept the archetype and it's lvl 15 ability "Right Gun for the Job" appeared. As far as I can tell you're fine to change the character's level.
Edit:
I went ahead and changed his race and back again and everything was fine there too.

The content got removed in August. It was partnered, but only for a set period of time.

You should be able to level up or down, though ask a moderator just to make sure.
