Heya , i’m thinking about making a mercy monk as my back up character, since my current character (lore bard) has seen his life flash before his eyes a several times now in our long running ToA campaign. In our group we have a paladin and a spores druid wich both have some healing capabilities as well. My question would be if the mercy monk is a good option for me to take or not? Since’s they have perfect options to stunlock bigger threats and can heal nicely while also chipping in some decent dmg each round
I plan on playing a Way of Mercy Monk with the Healer feat in my next game. If you're not looking to min/max this is a really fun option that gives you multiple healing options along with a possible medical themed background. Save your ki healing for fights and patch people up in between. People sleep on the Healer feat.

I already made the backup character and took the mobile feat first. Planning on taking the healer feat as soon we hit lv 8
