I mostly use my greatsword, but I also used claws, handaxes & grapples so far.
I think about getting maybe getting "Medium Armor Master" later.
I picked "Blind Fighting" for my Fighting Style.
I use the options offered by TCoE for the Ranger.
So far I was thinking about a Half-Feat for Strength like Slasher or Skill Expert (maybe even Tavern Brawler) to get it to 20. I am thankful for any suggestions (not limited to the Lvl 4 Feat) and wish you all a nice day.
I definitely agree on taking a half-feat to cap your strength (personally I'm a fan of Skill Expert, especially for Rangers, especially for Rangers without Favored Enemy or Natural Explorer,) but that said, your current +4 will get you to level 8 no problem. If you're mostly using a great sword, I recommend Great Weapon Master or Sentinel. Or possibly both eventually.
Another strong choice I recommend, especially for Horizon Walkers, is Fey or Shadow Touched. Not only are they thematic (a planar traveler would be touched by the Feywild and Shadowfell) but the former gives you free teleportation and free Hunter's Mark --freeing up your spells known list for something else-- while the latter gives you access to invisibility (which is great for infiltration and you otherwise don't get it.) Also also, they're both half-feat that can bump up your mental stats.
Other feats that are universally useful for what you seem to be trying to do: heavily armored, tough, war caster, lucky, magic initiate, ritual caster, slasher.
Slasher is a really good option because it does serve many of the forms of combat that you like and it does finish off your strength very nicely. Skill expert is nice for a little bit more ability in non-combat areas. GWM pairs well with that Great Sword for some extra damage.
Fey and Shadow Touched are not bad theme wise but keep in mind that at least as of right now they do not actually get you a stat modifier increase. They only potentially create a need to fix an odd stat later. Which is doable but something to keep in mind.
War Caster won't solve your stat issues but it does bring a lot to the table with an additional way that you can lash out during an AoO as well as help with keeping your concentration spells active while you are in melee range which is useful to a melee ranger. Not to mention it makes your spells easier to cast in general if your hands are full with weapons or potentially a shield or something for some reason.

My Leonin Horizon Walker will probably hit Lvl 4 soon and I am still uncertain which Feat to grab or directly and maybe later.
Str - 19|Dex - 16|Con - 18|Int - 12|Wis - 14|Cha - 14 (We rolled...and well....I got pretty lucky)

Hope this helps.
