I came up with an idea yesterday, and though this might be something interesting for the subclass of the rogue, Arcane Trickster.
Since, the mage hand is the only "Special skill" of this class. I have created an item that will add spice for the term "Trickster"
So, the idea is at level between 5 to 10 you will receive a Deck of Treachery from the god Olidammara.
Once you draw a card, the card burn to return in the shadows. You can draw up to 4 cards each day. The deck will recharge every 4 full moon.
The deck is filled with 52 cards. Here is the list.
4x lightning bolt cards. 4x Fireball cards. 4x Frost Blast Cards. 4x Poison Effect Cards. (Can be put on the weapon you use, or put in a drink, or food) 4x Trickery Cards. (Turn you invisible for 5 minutes. Your movement are silent. You can see in the dark) 4x Smoke Bomb Cards. 4x Distraction Cards. (Minor illusion spell effect of your choice.) 4x Healing cards. (Heal 10 HP) 4x Doppelganger cards. (Create a physical shadow of yourself for 10 turns and help you in battle) 4x See future Cards. (allow the player to pick one more card) 4x Curse Cards. (Cause the player to not play a card for 3 days) 4x Familiar Cards. (Create a familiar of level 3 to help you for the whole day, only an animal of your choice) 2x Mind reading Cards. 2x Trump Cards. (You choose to either.. Be Immune to damage for 3 turns, immune to to spells for 3 turns, self regeneration +2 HP per turn for 3 turns, recharge one spell slot for 3 turns.)
These cards are random, and can be either good or useless at some moment. But I figure it might be a game changer for this subclass.
