D&D BEYOND will be undergoing maintenance on Jan 20th @ 1 AM Pacific for approximately 6 hours. For updates, check our Status Page at https://status.dndbeyond.com/
Remove Pact of the Chain (keep invisible Imp alive as long as possible), add Devil’s Sight, Aspect of the Moon (craft scrolls during Long Rest) and Agonising Blast: True Strike
Level 4: Rogue 2 (dead level)
Level 5: Rogue 3
Fast Hands (can now use True Strike scrolls and hold action for two Sneak Attacks)
Level 6: Rogue 4
Spell Sniper: 18 Charisma, interesting tech but with True Strike it allows a Giff to also ignore cover and remove disadvantage for shooting in melee.
DPR: 2(1d12+8 +3d6 Radiant +3 Force (3 uses per Long Rest)) = 56 (costs 15gp)
Will then continue in Rogue and max out Charisma, with damage that scales well. This build requires a lot of money in tier 1 to actually get a Musket and craft True Strike scrolls
OR
Autognome with Whitestone Rifle Corps Background
(Awakened toy soldier or teddy bear)
-Fey/Shadow touched for 1st feat but need Sharpshooter for 2nd feat to secure long range, melee and ignore cover.
-gets free armour (16ac) and free musket for stronger/cheaper start which frees up significant wealth for scrolls.
OR
Elf with Whitestone Rifle Corps Background
(Soldier who adjusted to human society after deforestation, became farmer)
-Free Musket (and firearm proficiency)
-Remove Devil Sight and add Crafter feat
-Elven Accuracy for 1st feat but need Sharpshooter for 2nd feat to secure long range, melee and ignore cover.
-Aspect of the Moon is less needed due to Trance, could get Musician or Alert feat.
OR
Custom Lineage with Gunner (17 Dex), and Wayfarer background and extra skill/dark-vision (could remove Devil Sight).
-Exactly the same as Giff’s progression but will have to take Sharpshooter as 2nd feat though it will get 18dex.
-Fewer helpful racial features BUT offers flexibility with character concept.
I am not sure, but I think you have true strike confused. You use true strike with an actual weapon. At 6 level true strike is 1d6+cha (?) bonus. Or if int based true strike is 1d6-1 for 8 INT?
Basically I am confused to the interpretation by a lot of your choices. They don't seem correct, but maybe I am way off.
DPR: 2(1d12+8 +3d6 Radiant +3 Force)
I assume the 2 is for number of attacks? But how do you get 2 attacks? The warlock needs to be 5th level and burn a couple of invocations. You are Warlock/Rogue 2/4. Not sure what is 2d12? That is not Eldritch blast (d10) not sure how you are getting radiant and force damage. Sneak attack is but 2d6 and matches the weapon. If you add in truestrike, you get 1d6 radiant, 2d6 sneak attack add the weapon damage itself.
True strike is somatic, so you need to juggle the weapon with that. Sneak attack has special conditions that need to be met so potential issues with that one as well.

They're building a 2014-style character and using the 2014 version of True Strike, which doesn't involve making an attack but just provides advantage on your next attack. It's a largely useless spell unless you can cast it as a bonus action (as they've found a way to do with scrolls via the Fast Hands feature).
Level 1: Rogue 1
Giff with Wayfarer background (Lucky feat and deserter roleplay)
8str | 16dex | 14con | 8int | 10wis | 17cha

Mastery: Musket and Pistol
Level 2: Warlock 1
True Strike and Pact of the Chain
Level 3: Warlock 2
