Usually War Caster and Resilient Constitution are high priority feat selections for a wizard. In the case of Bladesinging wizards, resilient Con could be downgraded in priority due the benefits of Bladesong. Would anyone consider a) not taking Resilient Con on a Bladesinger and/or b) replacing Resilient Con with the Spell Resistant feat?
I have frequently skipped both. unless you are doing the 6-8 encounters per day thing you have plenty of slots in case you lose concentration here and there.
depends if Resilient con takes you to a hp boost also ... depends on the party makeup, bladesingers normally go front line but who else is there with you? depends if your high level bladesinger has died before because of a con save?
I don't take war caster on wizards. Sometimes I''ll take it on a cleric if it's weopon and shield so both hands are busy. I like resilient CON but I'm usually too busy with other feats and ASIs to take it before level 12 (if I even take it). I don't take the spell resistant feat (I like resilient better).
I usually go: Magic intiate cleric (guidance and cure wounds), Fey touched (gift of alacrity), ASI. I have a level human10 Conjurer created as a backup character (for my stars druid) who has that setup but he has the I survived to tell the take feat (Mythos investigator backround which gives you choices) as well. Human let me take magic initiate as a bonus. On thsi character i may nto take resilent at level 12 since he doesn't have to roll CON saves on conjuration spells.
I play wizards often but have never tried bladesinger.
If you are allowed to multiclass, you could always start as an artificer (or fighter if you go Bladesinger for the weapon proficiencies) to get proficiency in Constitution automatically, eliminating the need for the Resilient feat.
As for Warcaster, the closest other option would be to dip into Warlock for the Eldritch Mind Eldritch Invocation (which I really don’t recommend.)
There is a new feat from Arcane Unleashed that adds a boost to certain concentration spells, but I don’t know it offhand. Just thought I’d mention it.

Cheers. I hadn't thought of it that way. It would certainly be more fun to choose things other than War Caster and Res Con.
