If your a forest gnome, you need to know that the option to select a different cantrip than minor illusion has not been coded, and you will need to homebrew around that part.
Other than that I dont have any illusionist specific advice. As a wizard, you can perform rituals without having to prepare them, so at least like 25-40% of your spells should be rituals.
You have a staggering five cantrips available to you. Seven at level 10. Very nice.
2-3 attack cantrips would be great. Not gonna lie, Toll the Dead is silly broken.
Lightning Lure lets you pull allies out of restrains and grapples. Mindflayer got your big dumb fighter in a hug? just pull them out of it. Allies can fail saves at will, and by RAW it works with no contest.
Control Fire lets you be a firefighter wherever you go. Cantrip selection is so tight with other wizards but with seven choices this is a perfect niche utility spell.
Mending lets you repair weapons and armor after they've been damaged by acidic puddings. A +3 sword being destroyed outright might be worse than a character death in some instances.
Mage Hand and Minor Illusion deserve spots
Message for an illusionist can be useful. Just remember you can't cast ANY spell and stay invisible.
Shape water, dancing lights and... *yuck* prestidigitation are low tier options if you want them as well.
