I call upon the council to grant me their wisdom! I’m creating a Fairy Cleric of Verenestra, and would like suggestions for their Divine Domain. I’ve done a bit of research, and can’t think of which Domain would fit best, though I am leaning towards Twilight.
I didn't recognize this deity so google got me there. Within that source, "Verenestra's avatar could cast wizard spells of the illusion, enchantment, and elemental (excepting fire) schools."
The natural target for Verenestra would be a patron within Archfey Warlock, and the Trickery Domain has features that align with that patron the most.
Trickery's expanded spell list includes additional Illusion and Enchantment spells and some invisibility features. Also, I'm not sure why fire is frowned upon, but it would probably be authentic to character to avoid all fire elemental damage, apparently.
I don't consider myself an authority by any means, but my best answer to your question: if you are looking for a Divine Domain, Trickery seems to be a good fit. If cleric is taken out of the equation, the best fit is probably Archfey Warlock.
Good luck, hope some others are able to assist as well!
I’d agree with trickery being a solid choice. Her avatar also had Druid levels, so nature could maybe squeeze in there. Really, it seems like it would be a love domain, which there isn’t. I think they’d been working on one, and it was changed to peace, but that doesn’t quite fit, though you could look at it as well.
Looking at the PHB table, it puts most of the love and beauty gods into life and light domains. Of course when that was printed, there were far fewer domains around.
I nearly edited to add Nature ... but concur also on the love/beauty tendency towards Life and Light. Of those two, I'd opt Life over Light, as Light features a lot of Fire-based spells, which would definitely not add up in this case.
I'd +1 for Life and Nature as options beyond Trickery.
