Hi all! I'm a new-ish D&D player playing my first campaign...
My character is a level 4 Valor Bard weilding a homebrew weapon, and I've somehow become the only partymember who heals anyone. I was thinking I could multiclass Cleric to help out my party a bit more, but I'm wondering how helpful this would be. The main hopes would be to gain more healing magic, especially spells like Revivify.
I know I could maybe get these things later with Magical Secrets, but would there be any point to adding 1 level of Cleric when I get the chance?
As a bard, if there are spells on other lists that you want, magical secrets is probably the better way to get them. Though as a valor bard that is also a long way off.
Dungeon Dudes just did a video on being the party healer that might be worth a watch: https://youtu.be/Vbax51T813A
There are also other ways to get the effects of that spell.
You could multiclass divine soul sorcerer to get access to the cleric spell list but you'd still have to dip 5 levels for revivify but you'd wouldn't run into the problem of having different casting stats. If you want a low level spell/cantrip only, magic initiate could work.
If this is soley to boost your general healing, dip Life domain Cleric for 2 levels. Their healing boosts your bard heal spells. But wait...there's more! You also get heavy armor proficiency, access to the very fun Thaumaturgy cantrip, the very useful Guidance cantrip and the Bless spell. So while Magical Secrets is great, a small dip gives you a lot of utiliy and your all-around healing more dazzle.
I've played several clerics and rarely ever had the opportunity to cast revivify. You don't often get in the situation where a PC goes down in the middle of a fight and you manage to get to him, or her, within 10 rounds. I find myself using raise dead much more often.
As has been said, taking a few levels of any other class is more a detriment than anything. You'd be better off simply gaining 6 more levels of bard and picking up revivify and/or mass healing word with your magical secrets. A two level dip into life cleric might sound appealing but it will delay access to those spells by two levels.
I'd say the biggest cost to you would be the divergent casting stats. Bard uses Charisma, while Cleric would be Wisdom. So depending on your base stat distribution, it's probably not a good choice. Kateful is correct that Sorcerer would be a better choice, since Sorcerer uses Charisma just like Bard. You can choose Divine Soul as an Origin, which adds certain Cleric spells to the Sorcerer Spell List.
A lot of it will depend on what You want vs. what your party Needs. drag0n_77 is correct that going Sorcerer lets you add Cleric spells, but you already have healing, right?
Also consider your character's personality. What kind of person is this? Personally, I'm not a fan of multi-classing just for the power. Is there an in-game-reality reason your character would want to start devoting themselves to a particular deity? Or is there some dormant celestial blood in those veins? If so, why has it not shown itself until now? Or are you happy being a Bard and it's just that your party tends to run around without taking necessary precautions?
I am also against multi clashing just for the power. I Also do not think it is a good idea for a new player to multiclass it just makes things to complex both from a role play and a mechanical point of view.
Having said that if you still are going to multiclass then celestial Warnock is another alternative getting cure wounds and healing light at level one.

You'd have to dip 5 levels to get Revivify. It is probably not worth it unless your wisdom is really good too.
