If I'm using dndbeyond as my character sheet the one thing I'm really struggling with is the ability to put notes, markers, all kinds of reminders on my character sheet.
On a paper character sheet I can put tick marks, small notes, write on separate paper, etc.
There is the one section available for notes but it is too limiting.
Edit: There also is the "customize" which has a single line notes field on some elements like some spells and abilities. I get that it technically meets the requirement but it's not "easy" like picking up a pencil and writing a quick blurb on my character sheet. It feels more like I'm permanently customizing a spell instead of putting my custom flavor note on my character's interpretation of that spell.
I'd like to be able to:
Put small notes on any field (e.g. on a spell for my particular usage of it, etc.) with a small marker showing I've added custom notes to it.
Have the actual notes be in the sidebar popout and easy to access from the entire page rather than having to switch.
A separate "log" where I can keep adventure notes (like a diary) of the character. Perhaps something where I can create multiple pages or chapters or something. I tried typing a ton into one of the existing notes field and it got unwieldy really fast.
