I got my 9th level Armor Modification on an Armorer Artificer which says "You learn how to use your artificer infusions to specially modify your Arcane Armor. That armor now counts as separate items for the purposes of your Infuse Items feature: armor (the chest piece), boots, helmet, and the armor’s special weapon", however i see no options or workarounds on infusing the armor's special weapon (thunder gauntlets) anywhere nor can i find a way to create one in the equipment infusions page like the helmet or boot options, is there anything to be done or do i just have to roll analog to be able to add my bonus to attack and damage and skip using dndbeyond altogether? this is really annoying seeing how i play online
To me it does sound like a bug because those items are specific to your class alone. The issue stems from that those items are also classed as magical items, as per the initial description at 3rd level when you choose that Specialty for Arcane Armor, it might be something on the list of things to fix/add in the future.
Therefore in the meantime the only way you can get around it on DDB is on your Action page where you roll, you have Manage Custom, click that and in the Manage Custom Action select from the drop down "Weapon" and it will then create an Action called "Custom Action #" if you then click on that and click Edit you can then add what needs to be added, including notes for the action.
