I believe this is only possible when the homebrew spell is one of your own creations, rather than just being in your collection. If you're able to rebuild the homebrew spells in question yourself, you should be able to then add them to your homebrew item.

At first glance it doesn't appear possible to add spells from my Homebrew Collection to one of my Homebrew items.
Can we please make this a thing? Thank you!
I.E., trying to do this with an attuned item (ring, amulet, headpiece, whatever):
The wearer may call upon the Divine Wisdom of Dragons to cast one of the following spells once per long rest (does not require a spell slot):
