As I browse the forums and comments throughout the site, I see that there are many-many people that have made the assumption that D&D Beyond is the publisher (read: Creator) of Dungeons and Dragons. Mainly because they come into the game via a YouTube/Twitch stream that is advertising the DDB toolset and not Wizards of the Coast, the actual publisher.
IDEA - If D&D Beyond had a NEWCOMERS START HERE tab (or something like that) at the head of the main page that tells them what DDB is, how subscriptions/purchases work, How to make/start a campaign.it may greatly help lessen the amount of questions and frustrations that are made throughout the website.
DDB does well in getting new players to build and use the toolset, but near-nothing to explain who and what they actually are.
