For magic items that have abilities with DCs, you put that in the items description.
There's currently nowhere in the system that would call that information from an item (as magic items can't add actions) so the information is purely descriptive.
They need to just update magic item homebrew to the same level of detail as feats enjoy currently (such as it is). Magic items need to be able to grant special actions and so on.

So, for the DDB devs, on the modifier section for a magic item could you please add in the ability to put a DC (fixed or not) on a magic item?
What is the DC for? You can already set the DC for spells given by Magic Items.
