I created a monster stat block for what I called a Young Wrathful White Dragon. I basically just gave it the ability to cast wrathful smite while following the innate spellcasting rules. I was not expecting to not be able to share it! There's a screenshot here and it's on DNDB here, in case you have access to it. Do you have any feedback on how I can make it dissimilar enough to share?
You basically need to make the monster wholly original, simply adding a trait to a monster won't cut it.
However, seeing as all you've done is added the ability to cast wrathful smite, I'm not sure sharing it is even necessary. That's something other people can easily do.
Okay, thanks for responding and for answering my question. I think there was value in the work I did to look up how monster proficiency bonuses work and then apply that to the rules for innate dragon spell casting. Plus it took some time to make it close to the standard formatting. So, I guess I disagree with the "easily part." Oh well. thanks for moderating though.
