Well yes I know I can do stuff like screenshots and copy/paste....but it would be nice to be able label different chapters and images as handouts and have them accessible by people in the campaign
I think they are planning on expanding the content management tools to allow by-section management. So for example, if you wanted to you could share the Encirideon from Waterdeep Dragon Heist with your players, but nothing else from the book.
Seeing as content management has only just released, this level of granular control is probably a way out.
is there anything in the works for making sections of a book (like apendix) or image (like a map) given to players as a handout?

You can also save images, then do whatever you want with them (within the confines of the law).

You can share entire books using content sharing from a master subscription then only have to send links to stuff.
