This may not be in the right place since I'm not sure if it's a bug or a feature (Bethesda voice: yes), but my boyfriend and I just discovered you can find out other character's backgrounds by hovering over any proficiency granted by a background feature. The "description" and "notes" sections are specifically blocked from view to fellow players for keeping some secrets and this includes what the character has as their background, so it seems counter-productive to reveal that elsewhere.
Having a way to see what feature is granting you a proficiency is pretty useful for your OWN character sheet, but seems like maybe it shouldn't be enabled on other people's sheets except for the DM who is enabled to see those 'secret' things anyway.
Thoughts? Did people already know this was a thing, or has it just slipped through the coding cracks?
