I have every released dnd book, but I can't use any of the things in the book, without paying more money. I've already put in hundreds of dollars into the hobby, I would like some kind of way to gain access to materials that I own without paying extra thank you for listening.
You can currently create homebrew monsters, magic items, races, backgrounds, spells, and feats. Homebrew subclasses are coming eventually. You can do all that and use it in the character sheet and other parts of the website for free. What you cannot do for free is have access to the book with tooltips and search functionality. If you want to have the electronic books but not the character sheet items you can buy the compendium for a lower price. This has been discussed very well in this thread
