For the foreseeable future, it is strictly official material. With so many official rules and options still not being implemented, homebrew in general has very low priority right now. Beyond does want to improve homebrew and they will eventually get to it, but I would not get your hopes up that they will include homebrew classes one day. When Beyond first started, they practically had to beg Wizards to allow homebrewing, so given Wizard's initial hesitation to that idea, I am not convinced they are going to expand the scope of homebrew beyond what we have now.
