I would like there to be an option to filter out the common quality magic items from the "replicate magic item" infusion for Artificers. The current listing of all common magic items is terrible. A complete UX design failure. It bloats the options with an ever-growing list of mostly useless crap and it's really difficult to find the uncommon quality options in it. Don't even get me started on how DnDbeyond incorrectly thinks that every single variant of the armblade must be spelled out in this drop-down menu. (In reality you can just pick the "armblade" infusion and whenever you create it you pick which weapon you use for it.)
This is especially aggrevating when you try to build an artificer character with a player who is new to the game. I don't want to overload them with 760 options when there really are only EIGHT uncommon quality options for level 2.
One way to accomplish this filtering could be to take out all of the common quality items from the first drop-down menu, add an option that says "common quality magic item", which would then give the player a subsequent drop-down menu with all of the common quality magic items.
The artificer is all kinds of broken, and they don’t seem to pay attention to the forums anymore. Pretty sure they are letting them die quietly. I’m getting disappointed with the support and communication from DDB about anything except “buy more things!”
