I am a subscriber, have bought many of the D&D Beyond digital books (even though I also own the physical product), and I plan to continue my subscription for the foreseeable future because it is a very convenient service.
One feature I would love to see incorporated is a button in each Monster and Item stat block that provided a card sized PDF that would be perfect for printing. This way DMs and Players could print the content they want, and opt not to use their tablets (if they don't want to), while still benefiting from the convenience of DNDB.
Right now a user could simply copy and paste this info into a word doc and modify it themselves, but that takes up a lot of time that could be spent planning games.
So it might not be exactly what you're looking for, but the dndbeyond devs have done work to make the print format of monster pages really clean. Open any monster page and do a print preview, and you'll see what I mean. It's not perfect, but you could very easily save those prints out as PDFs. I know macOS supports saving a PDF directly from the print view, and I imagine that Windows does, or you could find some software that adds the ability!
That is a good idea. I did attempt to save a particular monster as a PDF. My trouble with this is the page layout and page count. The layout included the image of the monster, which I wouldn’t need while DMing. The text skirts around the image in an awkward fashion and on the other pages the text is laid out in a way that does not take full advantage to minimize space and page count.
I think for now I would prefer to copy/paste the info into a word doc if I ever want to have printable cards.

Has there been any discussion of this?

Thanks for your reply Hermes!
