I am trying to make a magic item that prevents my character from being surprised at the start of combat. For those that don't knwo what surprise is, it is a feature determined by the DM at the start of combat. Surprised creatures don't take their first turn, and can't do reactions. I can't find a way to allow a magic item to track the imunity on you character sheet. I already put the surprise immunity in the description but I want it to track that on my character sheet. I am aware the rule is found in the player's handbook so maybe that has something to do with it? Does anyone know if it is possible to track immunity to this condition?
To my knowledge, there is no current implementation for representing this on the character sheet. Even the Alert feat, which grants the same benefit, doesn't display this in an meaningful way on the character sheet outside of the feat description (there is no indicator in the Defenses / Conditions box of an immunity to surprise, for example).
