If you take a feature that grants expertise in a Tool (including a Musical Instrument), that expertise doesn't show anywhere on the digital character sheet. If a Feat grants expertise in a tool, the Feats section of the character sheet doesn't specify either (doesn't differentiate between Proficiency and Expertise). The "Tools" section in the Proficiencies & Languages box should have an "Expertise" subsection (or add a "E" or "(Expertise) tag for each proficiency Expertise.
You can technically add a custom skill for it, but there are only two spaces for extra custom skills, and many DMs already have extra skills used for that section. (And not every player will be savvy enough with the digital sheet to know they can put it there).
