I love the little animal icons on the Monster pages that signify ability scores, however I would love to see them on the reference pages under Basic Rules. It seems a small piece of internal consistency that may help others.
Where on the monster pages are you seeing those? I see them in the character builder and the character sheet but I have not seen those icons on any monster page.

What icons are you referring to? Can you link to the page?
The little Animal icons.... on the Ability page when you create a new character or on the monster pages.
I looks like the Str is a bear, Dex is Cat, Con may be a bull, Wisdom is an Owl, Dog is Int, and an Eagle ? is Chr
