I'd like the ability to organize characters in to folders and to tie folders to a campaign.
Specifically, I want to be able to have a folder of "dead" characters associated with a campaign. I also want to be able to have a folder of "allies and guests" associated with a campaign that is visible to my players. And I'd love to be able to when I go to "My characters" have the option to see my player characters and then folders for the PCs/NPCs I've created for campaigns.
I guess to explain my use case. I create a lot of characters in DnD Beyond to use as 'people around town', competing adventuring parties, guess roles played by friends, occasional signature foes, teachers, etc. I probably have 30-40 'active' characters created in DnD Beyond for my current active campaign as well as a number I've 'archived' to pdf just to reduce clutter. I also have a few that have been renamed to append (DEAD) to their name. Some of these characters are meant to be visible to the PCs in the campaign, some are meant to be visible only to me -- which you currently support. But what I'd really like is to have it when I go to the "My Characters" view I see my ~3 active PC characters and then a set of folders where I've moved the other 50 characters I've created in to.
Same. I'd love a separate folder for Adventure League characters, my campaign where I'm the DM, my brother's campaign where he's the DM, and dead NPC adventurers, as well as Rival Parties. This would help keep things organized.
The ability to create a character and then include it in a grouping without having to create a separate campaign and then create unassigned characters FOR that campaign, would be amazingly useful.
Rollback Post to RevisionRollBack
I used to talk to Player Characters, but then they made a meme out of guards who used to be adventurers until they took an arrow to the knee, and after that, I just didn't feel my 2 copper opinion was all that interesting, to be honest.
