When a DM is searching homebrew, they often find something that is close to what they have in mind but not quite. DnD Beyond should have the option to edit a homebrew monster once they add it to their library. If there are concerns about re-sharing, perhaps once it is added and edited it can only remain private and cannot be shared again. Currently, if a homebrew isn't exactly what the user is looking for, they have to build the homebrew from scratch which is much more difficult and time consuming.
