I've been using maps for a couple of months with a small campaign and have been experiencing some bugs with the grid. Specifically with it not appearing. I haven't seen anybody else having this issue, and when I tried to leave feedback using the feedback tab on maps (as directed on the maps main page), I noticed that the tab was gone completely.
Is the project being abandoned/not being worked on anymore? It would be a bummer to be paying for something that is not being worked on any longer, to say the least.
Maps doesn’t add a grid. If want one included, you’ll need to ensure there’s one on the map image itself.
If the Feedback button is missing, you might have opted out of analytics cookies (see Your Privacy Choices in the site footer below), or you might have an ad blocker that’s hiding it.
Maps is not being abandoned. There’s been several significant features added in the last few months, like quickplay maps, animated maps, and expanded access to Maps. There’s also several features announced for the months ahead, which can be seen on the Maps home page.

But I did want to mention that they recently changed things so you don't have to pay for a subscription to use Maps anymore. It's free to all now.
