I like the updates very much so far! However, I have one suggestion...
It would be amazing if there was a print button under "Manage Spells" that would allow me to print my "Spellbook" or "Known Spells" with all the spell details. I could then put those in a binder to use while playing.
I play at game stores that do not offer wifi, so I do not have access to DNDBeyond while I play. I currently print everything manually by cutting and pasting into a Word document, but having the website automatically do it would be amazing.
Have you tried exporting the character sheet, when you do that it creates a pdf file that you can edit once downloaded. You also might be able to print out the spells section alone for your spells.
Yes. I export my character sheet and print it. However, the spell list on the character sheet does not have any of the spell details. For example, it does not list the dice to roll for damage or the effects of buff/debuffs. It simply lists the PHB page to look them up.
Since, from the online character sheet, you can click on "Spells", "Manage Spells", and then (depending on class) either "Spellbook" or "Known Spells" to find a list of expandable spell details; I thought it might be pretty easy to add a "Print Spellbook" button to print all the info that is in that "Manage Spells" popup window.
Sorry if I was not clear before.
Edit: I also only have a PDF reader. I have not bought Acrobat, so I can only view and print.
I have a Surface RT (Stop laughing!). I don't suppose the app is available on the Microsoft app store? That is the only way to get software on RT machines. As for the phone, I could just use the website on my phone, but I am getting older so the text is a bit hard for me to read on the small screen.

On the edit front the pdf does not need acrobat to edit as the pdf is created to be edited. So you can put the damage in the notes section then save the document, then all you have to do is print the spell sheet out.

Thank you! I had not noticed that changes could be saved to the .pdf char sheet. I see now that I have to click out of the box that I changed for the save icon to become active. That is a good work-around, and I will use it.
...I still say a Print button in the "Spellbook" / "Known Spells" popup window would be an amazing addition to an already awesome tool.

I'll second this feature. Print button that prints out spell cards for each spell in your spell book, using your characters stats for damage etc.... AMAZING!

Hi there,
do you have a smart phone or tablet? If so, you could download the D&D Beyond app, which would give you offline access to content.
It's only in beta currently, but I find it really handy for reference when I am somewhere with no WiFi or mobile network.
