I was comparing passive perception scores between my character and another party member based on some recent magic items we got. He has Robe of Eyes and I have Watchful Helm.
When I equip the Watchful Helm, I get +5 Passive Perception. When my party member equips the Robe of Eyes, he does not get +5 Passive Perception. Both items are worded the same (based on sight) and from the previous thread on Robe of Eyes' passive perception, the reasoning given was Passive Perception is based on sight and hearing.
I understand that reasoning; however, what I don't understand, is the inconsistency. If the reasoning above still applies, wouldn't Watchful Helm get the same treatment?
Heyo, just chiming in to say that the Watchful Helm still gives +5 to Passive Perception even though nothing in its wording (at least in the character sheet inventory manager) describes that.

This has been passed along to the team, thanks!
