One of the big complaints I've heard about the Marketplace, and agree with, is that it's almost impossible to see what you already own. The mobile app does this with the Owned filter, so it's clear you can do it without too much trouble.
But the new marketplace has doubled down on the complaint and now, the only bit of text indicating you own something, is "You own this digital product" under the giant "Add to Cart" button right before you checkout.
The primary purpose of the marketplace is for me to buy books I don't have. I don't need to give everything as a gift, so showing me titles I already own actively reduces my exposure to titles I might actually buy.
