The proper abbreviation for the Imperial unit of weight called a "pound" is lb., not lbs. This is whether it's a single pound or multiple. The character builder wrongly uses lbs., but the Player's Handbook rightly uses lb. In the name of being both consistent and grammatically correct, please correct this in future revisions.
Hey, 7 years later I was just googling this and learned this too. I've been making homebrew content for 5e for awhile now and have been using lbs but just switched to lb. Looks like lots of stuff on this site still has lbs!
