This beta test has been fun. We have searched, scoured, debated, and combed over almost every single pixel of these pages. I understand the job of us beta testing is to see where some of the hiccups and downfalls are. However, there have been countless things that I have been amazed at. Thus I thought it would be a good idea to start a thread to simply say how great DnD Beyond has been so far. We are on phase 1 and already made great progress. Not to mention how day one there was a working compendium, spell list, item list, and monster manual ready to use at our disposal. Therefore, if you'd like to simply say how much you really appreciate or like something that you found on the site, or something unexpected that you enjoyed stumbling upon, please feel free to share it here :).
For starters:
I love the monster manual. The ease of being able to search for monsters immediately as well as have a picture and the stat block for the monster appear make my job easy. The smoothness of the layout allows for little to no confusion on what the monster is and can do. It has been a delight to see such high caliber craftsmanship in something that is in early stages of a beta.
Totally agree with the OP, I'm really glad for the effort everyone has put in to make this happen. It's long overdue, and while I'm not sure why they made the decision not to support "official" forums and the like two years ago, I'm glad to finally have them.
Can't wait for the roll-out of additional features. Even if they have a subscription fee for certain services, just having a centralized place to do all this is fantastic.
I'll be real. The items search is a great addition. I'm always thinking of things i want to give to my PC's, useful or not. And have an easy access list is a great way to do that instead of search for a book and picking something random.
I'm impressed of what we have done in Phase 1. It's pretty much a functionality test before they add more things as I'm sure most of what we have right now has laid a foundation of how more things get added. Even the addition this week of the tooltip popups/links and being able to put the links in our forum posts has made this well worth checking out and helping make better. I already can do a lot of things faster here than working with pdfs I have to scroll through. That's right, this 48-year-old crazy lady, who started out in 1980 or 81 with D&D about when I turned 13 is loving the ability to have everything on the computer and portable. I don't have a local in home face-to-face group right now, but being able to do this on a portable device makes it way better than lugging a bag of books! Though carrying all them books and stuff helped with some weight lifting moments! ;)

Still a some work to do, but really is "beyond" my expectations for D&D as a whole.

Thanks, team!
