Since there is no base class builder for homebrew, is it possible to create blank baseclasses (with a base hp for each possibility) that only increase hp and proficiency, and allow you to select a subclass at first level?
That way, more options for homebrewing (for instance, the withdrawn ua artificer) would become available...
They should be available to homebrew off only, not as a selectable class, so they would no show up unless you ( or someone in your campsign) has created a subclass for it.
Alternatively, making the retracted ua classes available to homebrew off would also work. (So they would only be available to those creating subclasses)
My current frustration is the ua classes being retracted, the suggestion being you can homebrew it if you want to, but not actually being able to do that.....
