I'm sure there are many people who have already mentioned this, but I want my thoughts to be added to the pile.
I am extremely disappointed with the decision to remove a la carte purchase options from the marketplace. This is a short sighted and overall boneheaded move by D&DBeyond (Hasbro).
I buy things on Dndbeyond because I want to support the site. It makes things convenient for me and my players, which is why i'm willing to spend money on the subscription. I'm willing to drop $20 on a pack of monsters and spells, items, races because its convenient to do game prep with the site. I dont need new rules, campaign settings, maps, and whatever else the site would force me to buy. I dont want to spend my money on stuff i will never look at.
I hate this change and I do not see how it was ever considered.
The removal of a la carte purchases, as well as the general market place changes has made the site less convenient for me. For now, I will not be purchasing anything else from the store and will spend my money elsewhere. I hope whoever made this decision will realize that it was a poor one and that it will be reverted. I don't believe that will happen and it makes me sad to see.
Agreed, I'm a new player just looking to start and only planned to buy what I needed for the characters I wanted to play. I'm not going to pay the price of a book for a single subclass, honestly I'd prefer not to play. They've literally price gouged themselves out of multiple purchases in the hopes of forcing people to buy full books.

Thanks for your time.
Yea, this was a greedy move by Hasbro and WotC.
Yeah, It says a lot about how much they value their customers.
