Been playing D&D for a handful of years now - and came from open-world video games, where I just clicked "E" on EVERYTHING to pick it up and add to inventory. I've just recently migrated to DDB from physical sheets, but unfortunately it seems like the inventory management system is pretty lacking?
I can add things to my equipment, and my encumberance is even connected to my STR, but there are a couple of nice features that I feel like are missing, and I'd love to get a consensus from the community to see if there are people in the same boat!
My main issues are:
No inventory sharing - there's no functionality for shared inventory, let alone a shared Bag of Holding/Portable Hole.
Limited customisation for mundane items - like I say, I love picking up everything (much to my DM's chagrin), but there is no way to make a unique mundane item that I can add stats and features to (that I can see at least). I would LOVE to see the 70 iron ingots I just picked up from the enemy's hidden smithy, but I just can't!
Limited functionality for equipment in different containers - I would love to see the items that are on my person, in my backpack, in my saddlebags, and in my house all in different tabs, so I know all of my stashes and items. However, not to be.
What are everyone's takes on this, and what methods do you currently use to circumvent these annoyances, if you do indeed agree with my position? :)
