I keep checking the forums but I haven's seen a poll for this. I've seen lots of chatter, but nothing official. Most of my friend group, including myself, are sticking with the original 2014 ruleset for now. Personally, I am not a fan of the changes for 2024, but i also have nothing against anyone who is a fan of the changes. I'm simply curious and want to get a feel for how others are feeling. I understand that this can be a hot button issue, but I'm not trying to start a huge argument here about which version is better. I just want to get a sense of how many people are staying with 2014 5e and how many people are making the switch to the new 2024 ruleset.
I feel pretty similar to you. I'm not in love with the new changes, but it feels like most of the basic rule changes either aren't extremely impactful or just clean up existing rules (which I am a big fan of for the most part). Since my games are somewhat long running, I don't plan on converting them to 2024 rules altogether. It wouldn't hurt to add and play with a few of them though *cough cough Bastions*. The class changes are the biggest thing to me. Some classes got heavily impacted by the new book, and that's definitely whats splitting the community the most. I'm not totally against it though, if everyone wanted to try it I'd be fine with the 2024 rules, it's fundamentally the same!
Same -- some of the gameplay changes are useful, a lot of the changes to my favorite classes take away the things I like most about playing those classes.
I'm actually playing characters built under both 2014 and 2024 rules, but I'm liking the 2024 stuff and all my new characters have been 2024. I only play on public servers, but my newest character uses Thief Rogue and Blade Breaker Fighter and the 2024 rules make the third-party Blade Breaker so much better thanks to Vex. (I ported Blade Breaker via homebrew on Beyond to make it usable for the server the character's on, long before deciding to use it.)

Already switched. Playing in 2 games, and running one. Though we’ve not had any sessions with the new monster manual, yet.
