I love buying the digital books, but there are a few things that I can't do in a digital version like I do in a physical book. Namely, I can't highlight text, add bookmarks, and add side notes to the digital version. Would you please consider implementing features like this?
If looking at the books on your phone is something you're interested or willing to do, there is the D&D Beyond app on android and apple. You can sync all your owned content onto the app and you can bookmark pages on the app. You can't however highlight or add side notes on it. Though, I'm sure one day we might be able to.
You may aught to visit the Feature Requests page and see if anyone has requested anything similar and upvote it or put up a request of your own there as well.

I think that is an interesting idea... as a stop gap, you can always just use their TOC, and make a reference of what you use.
For example.
Damage Types
Takes you right to that section. Much easier than the book..
