Playing around with the new updates on dndbeyond for the 2024 edition, our Fighter noticed that Partnered Content ((ex. Critical Role- Explorer's Guide to Wildemount) is not showing the subclasses available for selection in the 2024 version of the class.
Example: 2024 Fighter, level 3, DM has content sharing enabled and verified that they purchased the Explorer's Guide to Wildemount but Echo Knight is not appearing as an option. However, moving to the Legacy (2014) version of Fighter, this is available. This seems to be the case for both Wizard (Chronogy/Graviturgy) and Cleric (Blood Domain).
Do we know if this will be patched in future updates? Or are we no longer able to use Partner Content subclasses for 2024?
I have the content proper instead of it being shared with me and I'm also running into this. I wouldn't be surprised if something wasn't configured properly with partnered content. It's kinda inconsistent what we have access to with the 2024 versions, so here's a list of the expanded subclasses that I can select for the 2024 version of classes:
Barbarian: Wild Magic, Ancestral Guardian, Battlerager, Beast, Giant, and Storm Herald. No access to legacy versions of their new classes
Bard: Creation, Eloquence, Spirits, Swords, and Whispers. No access to legacy versions of their new classes
Cleric: Arcana, Forge, Grave, Order, Peace, and Twilight. Access to legacy versions of their new classes
Druid: Dreams, Spores, Wildfire, and Shepherd. No access to legacy versions of their new classes
Fighter: Cavalier, Purple Dragon Knight, Rune Knight, and Samurai. No access to legacy versions of their new classes
Monk: Ascendant Dragon, Astral Self, Drunken Master, Kensei, Long Death, and Sun Soul. No access to legacy versions of their new classes
Paladin: Conquest, Redemption, Crown, and Watchers. No access to legacy versions of their new classes, but access to the legacy version of Oathbreaker
Ranger: Drakewarden, Horizon Walker, Monster Slayer, and Swarmkeeper. No access to legacy versions of their new classes
Rogue: Inquisitive, Mastermind, Scout, and Swashbuckler. No access to legacy versions of their new classes
Sorcerer: Divine Soul, Lunar Sorcery, Shadow Magic, and Storm Sorcerer. No access to legacy versions of their new classes
Warlock: Fathomless, Genie, Hexblade, Undead, and Undying. No access to legacy versions of their new classes
Wizard: Bladesinging, Scribes, Warmagic. Access to legacy versions of their new classes
Not a bug that needs to be patched, considering that those subclasses were made with 2014 rules in mind (2024 rules weren’t even a thing at the moment of publication) it’s merely a matter of critical role not updating their work to work with the new rules system in the 2024 rule set
I can select the Grim Hollow RAce and Background...but not the subclass....so yes.. a bug.
Races/Species aren't locked to only 2014 or 2024 characters. Subclasses from third party sources only work with the version of the rules the third party devs set up. Use the right version of the class for the subclass you're after or make a homebrew copy and use that to remake it for the other version of the class.
Subclasses only appearing for the version they were built for is not a bug.
I think there is an issue that you can't jump back for some reason.. Anyway by restarting the character sheet it worked fine, but not way to get that sheet to change back.

This is also happening for the Echo Knight. I'm really hoping this is a bug, not a feature.
If it helps diagnose the issue, I have EGtW through shared content rather than having purchased it myself.
It's not just Critical Role. I own both Humblewood and Grim Hollow Player Pack and neither shows up. It's just all 3rd-party content right now.

Looks like they havent updated the 2024 classes to support all subclasses yet. I noticed the rougue doesnt support the tasha sub classes at all
I went through every class to see what might be missing from the 2024 options. What I found (that isn't partnered content):
Fighter - Arcane Archer
Rogue - Phantom
Everything else is implemented, even if a little broken.
EDIT: Just checked, has been reported in the main thread as well.
Isn't Wildemount official and not partnered?
The book is official, but the IP is partnered. Wizards has the IP to D&D, but Wizards does not have the IP to Critical Role.

This is a bug - sometimes the Grim HOllow is there, and sometimes not.
