D&D BEYOND will be undergoing maintenance on Jan 20th @ 1 AM Pacific for approximately 6 hours. For updates, check our Status Page at https://status.dndbeyond.com/
Now in character creation, my legacy content doesn't show up unless I make sure something is unchecked on the first page -- which is very easy to miss and then leads to alot of confusion. Site navigation is also harder, because searching things no longer brings the results (searching "Blood hunter" doesn't bring up the class...which the tab classes can which is good, but prior to recently you could search anything. I do own blood hunter so that's not why. I don't know why this happens).

What exactly are you missing? Unchecking sources on the Home tab doesn't cause things to appear; it will only cause things to stop appearing. Checking sources will cause things to appear.
You haven't been able to search for third party content for a good while now via the general search bar, that's why it doesn't come up with anything Blood Hunter related.
As for the checkboxes, yes it can be annoying when those change (and they have a couple of times over the last year as things were settling). At least the creator allows better control and separation of 2014 and 2024 content now (a major reason for the changes). And once you figure out they're there, those checkboxes become a valuable tool in ensuring the right information is front and center.
If you have any actual questions you're unable to figure out, asking here can help though.
For the legacy content, do you know you can set defaults for the checkboxes?
Go to your "My Characters" page. Just above your characters, to the right of the the character search box (i.e. not the main site search) there's a "Settings" button. That should bring up your default settings, and whatever you set in there should apply to all new characters.
