I am wondering if it would be difficult to program the page to allow the creation of ammunition when creating magical items?
It currently allows you to build a weapon using the template of an already available magical arrow. However, as soon as you start to modify the writing or flat out attempt to save; It let's you know that it is required to pick a weapon type. Unfortunately there is no option to pick "arrow", "Bolt" or other type of ammunition types. forcing you to switch the item from "weapon" to "item" . The easy button has been for me to just make it into a wonderous item. I gotten away with this in the past with a singular item. In context, the player has the ability to recall this item using the weapon's attunable property ("reciting the magical word that recalls the item back into the quiver, with a set of etc.; etc.") It has recently become an issue when attempting to create other types of magical arrows/bolts as weapons instead of wonderous items...reason: the ability to stack the item into a bundle.
So, what I am asking for is either: 1. The ability to toggle an off/on checkmark for items that can have "QUANTITY" when creating these wonderous items; or 2. Add arrow, bolt, bullet, or simply ammunition to the list of weapon types on the dropdown option.
Thanks in advance for any response from any parties with the power to make some changes.
March 2024 here, still no update for it. This might be yet another one of those things that are ignored like most homebrew option requests have been...well, anything RELATED to homebrew at that.
its wild that we still have to do this, when there are Magic Ammo, and even if you make it as a Copy of one of the Magic Ammo (that stack normally) It wont stack, unless you classify them as a potion...
oh yeah, 2026, still can't do this~

Still an issue... agreed.
My god is this still missing? I found a thread from 4 years ago about it....

They added it to "ignore weapon property" but not "weapon property", wtf?
The way i got around this was to make Base item as Item and the item type as Potion so they can stack

C'mon folks...at least give us a reply telling us why this is proving to be so problematic.
I suspect it's backend issues.
